Monthly meeting

Our monthly meeting is honored to have Colorado Senator Pete Lee speaking.  Pete has been in the Colorado Legislature for 9 years, first as a Representative and now as a Senator.  Learn what bills were passed and which ones didn't - and why.  Ask questions.  Get answers!

Joe Lewis (Lt. Col. Rt) Is the founder of the national group Angels of America's Fallen, located right here in Colorado Springs.  This organization empowers the children to participate in healing developmental activities such as sports, music, and other arts as positive outlets for their grief during their entire childhood. They support them through a  long-term commitment to see them engaged all year, every year, all the  way through 18 years old without having to reapply. The organization pays for the  activities, but their support is much more than just writing checks; they follow up to encourage the children and share in celebrating their successes throughout each year.
